This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. In short: YearsLater is designed to work without collecting your personal information, and your photos stay on your device.

1. Information We Collect

YearsLater is built to be private by default. The App is designed to work without collecting your personal information, and we never collect or upload the photos you select or create.

1.1 Anonymous Identifier & Subscriptions

To manage premium access, the App generates a random, anonymous identifier that is stored securely in your device's Keychain. This identifier:

• Is used to keep track of your subscription / premium access so it persists if you reinstall the App
• Is shared with our subscription provider, RevenueCat, to manage your entitlements
• Does not contain your name, email address, or phone number, and cannot identify you personally
• Is not synchronized across your devices

When you make a purchase, Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat receives the purchase/receipt information needed to validate your subscription. We never receive or store your payment card details.

1.2 Photos You Select and Create

YearsLater works with your photos entirely on your device:

• The old reference photo you choose is used only to display a live overlay while you line up your shot.
• The new photo you capture is saved to your photo library when you choose to save it.

We do not:

• Upload your photos
• Access your photo library beyond the photo you pick and the photo you save
